How to incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet

With grocery store prices rising, the cost of fruits and vegetables are rising as well. Don’t let this stop you from continuing to include produce in your diet. If you eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, there are many health benefits including: -it can lower blood sugar -reduces risk of heart disease and stroke -prevents some type of cancer -lower risk of eye and digestive problems -can have a positive effect upon blood sugar which can keep your appetite in check

Ways to save money on produce: -Shop around for the lowest prices -Buy what you need of fresh produce. Buy frozen for smoothies and cooking so it doesn’t go to waste. Freeze bananas and berries for smoothies or baking if you think they will go bad.

Fill up on fruits and vegetables!! Eat a salad before your meal. It will also make you less hungry. Grab a piece of fruit for a snack instead of a processed snack. Stay healthy!!!!
